SRB Pathways
In case you missed it
On Sunday, we revealed our new Pathways branding for our Bible Studies during our quarterly morning breakfast. This includes our Sunday morning studies, formerly known as Sunday School. Below is a summary of the changes and their motivations. Also, below that is the French Toast recipe used during breakfast.
God's Word Lighting Our Path
SRB Pathways is a renewed focus on small-group Bible studies at Schomburg Road Baptist Church. While the name is new, the heart is not: God’s Word matters, and we need to be grounded in it regularly—not just when life feels hard or motivation is high.
In a culture driven by changing feelings and opinions, Pathways points us back to the unchanging truth of Scripture. Faith rooted in God’s Word is faith that can endure.
Pathways Bible studies are designed to be welcoming, discussion-based, and Scripture-centered—a place where people can ask questions, grow in understanding, and learn how God’s Word shapes everyday life. Both Sunday morning Bible studies and Tuesday LifeTeams are part of Pathways, allowing us to meet people where they are.
At the heart of SRB Pathways are three simple questions:
-
What does God say?
-
What do His words mean?
-
How do His words shape the way we live?
We believe people grow best in community, studying God’s Word together, encouraging one another, and walking out their faith side by side.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
We invite you to find a Pathways Bible study, grow deeper in God’s Word, and walk the path together.
